Y1:D109 – This mornings test flight of the new A1 Aeroplane ended in disaster when the aerocraft came down short of the runway, crashing into the beach off the end of runway 27.

Emergency crew rushed to the scene and recovered the critically injured pilot, whose condition remains unknown at this hour.
